Courteney Cox’s Daughter Coco Appears in a Music Video — Just Like Her Mom Did in 1984!
Clearly, acting runs in the family! Courtney Cox's daughter is stepping into the spotlight, and her first stop is becoming the star of a music video.
Coco Arquette, 12, made her showbiz debut in a clip for MONOGEM’s new song "Wild," where she and co-star Matthew RC Taylor play besties who meet up for a night of fun — and cross-dressing!
“With all of the craziness going on in the world today, I felt compelled to deliver this message and lyric to our very important younger generation: ‘Life's too short to not live wild,'” MONOGEM, a moniker for singer-songwriter Jen Hirsh, said of the video.
While it might seem a little out there for the still-young Coco, her famous parents approve of her big break 100%.
“Check this out! Great song, great video and that’s my daughter!” tweeted Courteney, who got her start by appearing in the music video for Bruce Springsteen’s classic "Dancing In The Dark" back in 1984.
Coco's dad, David Arquette, has also been plugging the project. “So proud of my daughter Coco and her performance in the @monogem video link," he wrote on Instagram.
And it looks like on-camera work isn’t the only talent the preteen picked up. "She's a really good singer," Courteney previously said of her only child. "I don't know where she got it." The Friends alum also praised Coco’s commitment to the environment and making the world a better place. “She knows more than I do. She teaches me everything,” the brunette beauty told Fox News.

It’s clear that both parents are proud of how their daughter is turning out. "She's our number-one priority," Courtney has said. "No matter what happens, she'll be okay because she knows that she is completely safe, loved, and we'll protect that more than anything in the world."
We have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of Coco from now on! This story originally appeared on NowToLove.com.
