Actor Danny Masterson has been fired from Netflix in the midst of rape allegations against him. On Tuesday, Dec. 5, the streaming service announced former That ’70s Show star would be written out of his role on the Netflix series The Ranch, nine months after three women came forward and accused Danny of rape.

“As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of The Ranch,” a Netflix spokesperson told E! News via a statement. “Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him.”

In response to his firing, Danny continued to deny any wrongdoing. “I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix’s decision to write my character off of The Ranch,” he wrote in a statement. “From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me. Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit. I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one.”

Back in March, three anonymous women came forward and accused Danny of rape and sexual assault in multiple instances throughout the early 2000s. The LAPD opened an investigation against Danny as a result, but it was later closed and Danny has not been charged with a crime.

Danny — who is a member of the Church of Scientology — previously claimed that the reason why at least one of the women came forward earlier this year is because she was prompted by Leah Remini, who is the host of A&E’s Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, in an attempt to boost her show’s ratings, acccoridng to E! News.

“In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused,” Danny continued in his statement, mentioning the recent Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer sexual misconduct scandals. “I understand and look forward to clearing my name once and for all. In the meantime, I want to express my gratitude to the cast and crew that I’ve worked so closely with over the past three seasons. I wish them nothing but success. I am also so thankful to the fans that have supported me and continue to do so.”
