“I said it a million times, and I’ll say it a million more, Peter and I were like best friends on the show so he was always the one that, after I had left, was hoping to end up with Rachel,” Dean told E! News. But when asked who he thinks should be the next Bachelor, he replied very confidently, “Hands down Peter 2018.” He quickly backtracked by adding, “If that’s possible. The 26-year-old agreed that he is too young to take on the title — and admitted he had some emotional maturing to do. “I just don’t think I’m ready for it,” he said. “I just think that from an emotional standpoint I need to figure out a lot more about myself before I dive in and be the lead of anything. I think I have a ways to go before I’m ready for something like that.”
