He’s had enough! Dean McDermott is coming to the rescue of his wife, Tori Spelling, after she was recently bashed left and right for promoting Little Bites muffins as a healthy snack option for her children.
On Wednesday, March 27, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum took to Instagram to share some photos of her kids enjoying their muffins, captioning them, “This mom of 5 finds snack time a balancing act between pleasing my kiddos and feeling good as a parent about what I’m feeding them.” She added, “Thank you @littlebitessnacks for being yummy and kiddo approved.” And people weren’t happy at all, shaming the actress.
“It’s disgusting that she feeds her children these bags of chemicals just for some money … And then gets mad when people call her kids fat,” was just one of the many harsh comments the 45-year-old received. But Tori’s husband, 52, is clearly done with hearing people bashing the mother of his kids. On Friday, March 29, the actor took to Instagram to vent.
“I am sick and tired of everybody taking a shot at my wife Tori Spelling,” Dean began. “Just because she’s a celebrity they think they can say and do whatever they want. She posted about a snack, it’s a snack people. Haven’t we given our kids a snack before? Cakes, cookies whatever. It’s a snack.” He continued, “She’s a great mom. We’re great parents. Our kids eat healthy. They eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and occasionally they have a snack. So can we get over ourselves?”

The Open Range costar wasn’t done there, adding, “Listen, to all you parents out there who think you are holier-than-thou, let he who is without sin cast the first stone okay?”
While Tori, who shares five kids with Dean — Stella, 10, Hattie, 7, Liam, 12, Finn, 6, and Beau, 2, hasn’t commented yet on all the backlash, she has stood up for her children in the past, as she once called out trolls who called her little ones overweight after she shared a photo of them on their first day of school.
“I am a proud mama bear and I enjoy sharing our family journey with my family, friends, fans and online supportive and loyal community,” she said. “For all the individuals on here that felt the need to #momshame and #kidshame me and my children I say ‘Shame on you!’ I was raised to believe that if you can’t say anything nice about someone then don’t say anything at all.”
