This is just laughable. President Donald Trump disinvited the Philadelphia Eagles football team to the White House to celebrate their recent Superbowl win after almost all of the players were not going to attend. Instead, he told the team’s fans to join him on the South Lawn to honor America. Turns out, this wasn’t such a good idea for our patriotic prez.

During the ceremony, Trump stood with the US Marine Band and Army Chorus as they played “God Bless America” a song that the nation would think Trump knows all of the words to. Unfortunately, that’s just not true.

While he began to sing along to the first few lines of the tune, Trump then stopped and bobbed his head to the beat. Every so often, he would mouth a couple of the words, but they were few and far between.

Of course, people on Twitter went into a frenzy over it. “@realDonaldTrump’s failure to memorize or know the words of ‘God Bless America’ at an event he created to prove his patriotism is a great metaphor of the man: A BS artist. A total fraud,” one person said. Another wrote, “If you’re wondering why Donald Trump is tweeting so much tonight, it’s because he doesn’t want you to see the video of him today forgetting the words to ‘God Bless America.'”

Trump has yet to make a comment about the flub — on Twitter or in an official statement — but the video just speaks for itself. He f–ked it up, “bigly.”

And there are really only two possibilities here: Either Trump was stumped and didn’t actually know the words, or he just decided, at that exact moment, that he didn’t feel like singing along. To be honest, when it comes to this president, both options are totally possible.
