Oh, Jeff Lewis, you’re truly one of a kind. If there’s any man on the planet capable of turning legal turmoil into sardonic humor, it’s you. On June 12, news broke that Alexandra Trent, better known as the “Flipping Out surrogate,” is suing the Bravo network for unlawful recording, invasion of privacy, and fraud.

Alexandra acted as a surrogate for Jeff and his partner Gage Edwards after replying to a want ad the couple placed. She later gave birth to their daughter, Monroe, in 2016 — which was aired on television. According to Variety, "[Alexandra] alleges that the producers filmed her vagina without permission, and that Lewis and Edward humiliated her by making 'disgusting' comments on the show."

Anyone who has seen even five minutes of the reality series knows that Jeff Lewis is nothing if not painfully blunt — which makes the following statements far less surprising. "If I was a surrogate, and I had known there was going to be an audience, I probably would have waxed," he said on Flipping Out. "And that was the shocking part for Gage. I don’t think Gage had ever seen a vagina, let alone one that big."

Now, living up to his reputation, Jeff has seemingly commented on his former surrogate’s allegations in a recent Instagram post.

I guess we won’t be using her again. 😢

"I guess we won’t be using her again," Jeff captioned with a crying emoji. Clearly, the father-of-one isn’t taking the allegations seriously and his fans definitely appreciate the dark humor. "Haha, you’re just too much!" one commenter wrote. "OMG, Jeff, hilarious!" commented another.

Ultimately, given that Jeff and Gage aren’t being sued, they’re free to comment as they please. Bravo, on the other hand, has yet to respond on the matter.
