Chris Radomski, Gabrielle Anwar and Shareef Malnik Deliver Gourmet Meals to Miami Medical Workers

What an amazing way to show appreciation! Filmmaker and actress Gabrielle Anwar, her restauranteur and philanthropist husband Shareef Malnik, and La Adelita Tequila founder/CEO Chris Radomski teamed up to deliver three-course hot gourmet meals to Miami medical workers amid the coronavirus pandemic on On April 29.

While discussing ways they could do something impactful and unique for the heroes in South Florida one night, the trio decided to create an over-the-top beautiful gourmet experience meal that is served hot, along with a bottle of premium, single-estate tequila to take home after their shift so they could decompress. Radomski even offered to underwrite all aspects of the initiative, including food, tequila, and delivery himself!

Michelin-starred chef Christopher Lee, who appeared on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters, prepared the stunning meal, which included coconut milk lobster bisque, roasted beets and burrata salad with pistachios, Florida citrus, and white balsamic vinaigrette, braised beef short ribs with garden vegetables and red wine sauce, vadouvan cauliflower steak with tabouleh, white bean hummus, capers and golden raisins as a vegan option, and flourless chocolate decadence cake with salted butterscotch sauce. The gorgeous food was then delivered, with proper safety precautions, to frontline ER doctors and nurses working the night shifts at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and UM Hospital Jackson Memorial in Miami. It was a family affair for Anwar and Malnik, who enlisted numerous members of their clan to help package the meals, all in protective gear and with proper social distancing.

Everyone donated their time, and the doctors and nurses were thrilled to receive the touching gesture. The workers came out and applauded Anwar, Malnik, Radomski and Lee and their delivery team, and they applauded back for all the hard work for these medical heroes day in and day out. It was an evening filled with love, appreciation and gratitude.
