The Venice, Italy, premiere of Suburbicon marked George and Amal Clooney's return to the red carpet after welcoming their twins, Ella and Alexander, on June 6. But Life & Style can exclusively confirm that just three months after their babies' arrival, friends of the 39-year-old beauty believe she's expecting again!
"[She] has the same symptoms she had when she learned she was pregnant the first time," a close pal says. "She's eating like crazy and is more emotional than normal." As many fans saw at the recent event, George was acting very protective over his wife of three years. Could that be another sign that the human rights lawyer is expecting?

But, as the friend notes, Amal may want to do things differently this time around. "During her first pregnancy, Amal barely showed for the first several months, and was active and working right up until a few weeks before the birth. But she was tired a lot and had trouble getting to a healthy baby weight," the source shares. But weight may not be an issue during her second pregnancy.
"Amal's been loving going out to dinner while the family has been in Italy over the summer," the insider says. "She's craving pasta, risotto, and Margherita pizza. At times, it seems like she could be eating for three!" Before you roll your eyes, ob-gyn Dr. Pari Ghodsi suggests that a second set of twins is a strong possibility for the Clooneys. "Having twins once does increase your chances of having them again," he explains to Life & Style.
George has gone on record saying that Ella and Alexander were conceived without the help of fertility drugs. And while the 56-year-old "didn't think" he'd be married with two kids at this stage in his life, he seems very content with his little family. "Now my house is filled with the warm sounds of babies crying," he said in an interview. "You should see when my friends show up and see me change a diaper, the laughter that comes from them. I go, 'I know, I know.' I've given them so much s--t for so many years, I deserve every bit of it."
Adds the family friend, "He loves being a dad, and really has has a more-the-merrier attitude toward enlarging the family. He and Amal are stronger than ever as a couple. He loves her more than ever."
