Blake Shelton Is the Only Babysitter Gwen Stefani Needs During Her Las Vegas Show
He's a natural! Gwen Stefani took to Instagram to gush about her boyfriend Blake Shelton by sharing some sweet behind-the-scene photos of the country singer with her son. It seems like Blake is the perfect babysitter — as he plays backstage with Gwen's youngest son Apollo and some kids while Gwen kicks off her Las Vegas residency show, I'm Just a Girl.
Captioning the pics with a heart emoji, Blake, who has no kids of his own, was surrounded by kids in the cute pics. In another post, Gwen shared some PDA with her man following her debut, proving the couple is more in love than ever. Fans were clearly loving the candid moments, with one follower writing, "Blake is a master with the kids!!" Another added, "I guess kids love Blake!!! So cute the pile of love on the couch."
Previously, Blake opened up about his new role of stepdad and gushed about Gwens boys Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 4. "At this point in my life, I kind of had put [having kids] as like, 'Well, that wasn't meant to be,'" he said on The Today Show. "Then all of a sudden it happens one way or another and it's like, 'Wow, I missed out on a lot.'"
He continued, "For a long time, it was awkward trying to figure out what my place is and in their mind too. The best part for me, selfishly, is discovering a part of myself that I guess I never really knew was in there." Gwen also opened up about Blake's parenting skills, telling Ellen DeGeneres that Blake "just keeps getting better and cuter and more country."
As for her residency, the former No Doubt singer can't wait to perform for fans. "To be able to do a show in Vegas is such an incredible honor. Growing up in Anaheim, California, I could never have imagined one day having my own Vegas residency," Gwen added. "I have been so fortunate to tour throughout my career, but to create a show for Vegas is something I’ve never experienced and I can’t wait."
We have a feeling Blake will be her biggest supporter! We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for a duet.
