Hayden Panettiere Has Reportedly Called It Quits With Fiancé Wladimir Klitschko After Nearly a Decade Together
How sad! Hayden Panettiere and her fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, have reportedly split up after a whopping nine years together. The former Nashville actress and professional boxer began dating in 2009 and later got engaged in 2013. Although the pair never walked down the aisle, they do share a three-year-old daughter named Kaya together.
Hayden’s mom, Laura Vogel, spoke with Radar to reveal what lead to her daughter’s breakup. “[I] think there are a lot of changes going on in her life. But I think they’re positive changes. And I think that she’s taking some time,” Laura began.
“She needs to take a little bit of a break and make some decisions on her own of what she wants to do. So I think [Hayden] is in a very good place,” she continued. Laura also confirmed to Radar that Hayden has relocated from Nashville, TN to LA and that she and Wladimir are still on good terms. So much so, in fact, that the former flames traveled to Greece together in late July with their daughter.
It’s refreshing to see that despite moving on romantically, Hayden and her almost-hubby have decided to co-parent in peace. After all, the two have been through quite a bit together. Wladimir supported Hayden while she suffered from postpartum depression and entered two rehab facilities in 2015.
A struggle of which the now-28-year-old was very proactive about. “She agreed she needed a more intensive treatment so she can be the best mother she can be to her daughter,” a source close to Hayden told Life & Style at the time.
Here’s hoping that these amicable exes continue to make it work for the sake of their child! Who knows? Maybe they’ll get back together in the future. Stranger things have happened in the world of celebrity makeups and breakups.
