For now, the only gold in Shaun White’s life are the three medals he won at the Winter Olympics in Turin, Vancouver, and PyeongChang. There’s no ring on his finger yet, even though he’s been dating musician Sarah Barthel for five years!

“I’m pretty happy with how things are going and I think a family is a little far out for me with so much going on, but I could see myself settling down at some point,” Shaun told Us Weekly in November. “I’ve just been so busy and wrapped up in the sport. You get this tunnel vision honestly, and it’s like, friends and family and relationships, it all gets put on the sidelines.”

Even if you don’t know Sarah, you’ve likely heard her. She’s one half of the electro-rock duo Phantogram, whose “street beat, psych pop” songs have graced the soundtracks for such TV shows as Suits and Teen Wolf and films like The Edge of Seventeen and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Sarah and Shaun actually met backstage at Saturday Night Live in 2013, he previously told People magazine. But it wasn’t until he lent his LA home to her in 2014 that “things got going.”

Sarah’s not the only notable name in this 31-year-old halfpipe star’s romantic history, though. He reportedly hooked up with Lindsay Lohan in 2006, 24 alum Elisha Cuthbert in 2008, and supermodel Bar Rafaeli in 2012. (Even-numbered years seem to be lucky for him!)

Though Shaun hasn’t popped the question to Sarah, it sounds like they’re on track to get engaged once things get less hectic. “The people that truly are the ones that last the longest in your life are the ones that understand that and can be along for the ride and don’t really need their limelight,” he told Us Weekly.
