These Days, 'One Tree Hill' Alum James Lafferty Is Developing a TV Show With Co-Star Stephen Colletti!

We’ve all heard about the alleged sexual harassment on the set of One Tree Hill, but instead, it's time we focus on the men of the show who (as far as we know) are upstanding gentlemen. James Lafferty, for example, played Nathan Scott across all nine seasons of The WB/CW teen drama, and he recently stood in solidarity with his female co-stars as they called out the creator for inappropriate behavior.

Before we get to that, however, we’ve got all the intel on where the 32-year-old has been lately — and what he has in the pipeline! (Hint: Stephen Colletti is involved.)

He could have been Bono’s son-in-law.

He’s apparently single now, but James dated Eve Hewson — an Irish actress who happens to be the daughter of U2 lead singer Bono — until about 2015, when she moved on with actor Max Minghella.

He’s been all over our screens.

After One Tree Hill came to a end, James starred in the short-lived NBC thriller Crisis and had a recurring role on the WGN America drama Underground. As for his big screen career, you can catch him in the upcoming film Small Town Crime opposite actors Octavia Spencer and Anthony Anderson.

He’s working on a TV show about himself.

James and _One Tree Hill _ co-star Stephen Colletti have remained tight since the show's finale in 2012. In fact, they’re developing a series roughly based on their lives.

“I don’t want to say much about it, but it’s about two guys who were doing a TV show which is successful,” he tells the Indo-Asian News Service. “It’s kind of a semi-autobiographical in some respect. It is being taken a lot from our own experiences. It’s a half an hour comedy. We think it’s very funny.”

He stands with his fellow _One Tree Hill _ alums.

After female One Tree Hill cast and crew members published a letter earlier this month accusing showrunner Mark Schwahn — who has also worked with James on The Royals — of sexual misconduct, the director tweeted his support. “I applaud every woman on OTH, every woman on earth, who stands up to a system that has failed them in the past and in this moment,” he wrote. “I stand with them.”
