Arie Luyendyk Jr. Slams Former BFF Jef Holm For "Throwing a Lot of Shade" at Him Over 'Bachelor' Debut

So, it looks like former BFFs and Bachelorette co-stars Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Jef Holm still haven't gotten over their feud. Fans realized they were no longer two peas in a pod after the 36-year-old race car driver was announced as the new Bachelor in September. Not only did Emily Maynard's former fiancé diss his one-time pal's new gig, but he again threw shade at the Arizona-based real estate agent during the Season 22 premiere on Jan. 1. Read his tweets in the video below!

The gesture didn't go unnoticed by Arie, who basically pulled a Mariah Carey "I don't know her" on his former friend. "[He's] throwing a lot of shade, but we haven’t talked in four years since Sean [Lowe’s] wedding," Aire told Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood on Jan. 3. “I have no clue [why Jef is bitter]," he continued. "That’s kind of a question for him more than me. I have so much to concentrate on with this and I’m just trying to stay positive. I’m just concentrating on me.”

No one seems to know exactly what caused the pair to have a falling out, including their fellow 2012 contestant Chris Bukowski, who also made it to Emily's final four. "Obviously, he and Arie were like best friends and they're no longer. They're not friends," he told Life & Style recently. "I don't know the whole story because they were best friends and then they ended up hating each other. Arie definitely has a better relationship with the show, the producers, than Jef does. So, I don't know if Jef is [now] reaching to sort of [stay relevant], but at the same time, it's like Arie's time."

The new suitor does have a pretty extensive history of being a ladies man, which Jef alluded to when he tweeted, "Oh the stories I could tell..." He famously hooked up with former Bachelor winner Courtney Robertson, who raved about his skills in the sack.

"We headed into my childhood bedroom, into my canopy bed, for what can only be described as the best sex I've ever had," she wrote in her 2014 book, I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain. "Why was it so good you ask? Arie's incredibly passionate and utilizes his entire body in his lovemaking. And he knows exactly what positions make a woman feel comfortable and satisfied." We'd say whoever Arie picks (you can find full spoilers here) is in for a few surprises!
