Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has been at the center of controversy for his alleged affair with former TV personality Lauren Sanchez, and now a photo has just emerged showing the two dining together in public last April. Jeff and Lauren were seen grabbing a meal at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle — a short distance away from where his wife, MacKenzie Bezos, and their kids reside.

“Jeff could have booked a private room, but instead he brazenly chose a table that was front and center, even though Seattle is his hometown, and they could easily be recognized,” an eyewitness told Page Six about their outing, noting how Jeff, 55, and Lauren, 49, enjoyed oysters and champagne. “When Lauren sat down, it was clear they already knew each other and they had chemistry. There was a lot of giggling, close body language, and they seemed very into each other.”

A new bombshell exposé from the National Enquirer claims the Amazon CEO and Lauren have been seeing each other over the last eight months. Text messages allegedly sent to his mistress were revealed only one day after his rumored affair made headlines. Lauren happens to be the wife of talent agent Patrick Whitesell, and they are reportedly still living together amid their divorce proceedings.

Meanwhile, Jeff has been married to MacKenzie since 1993. He shockingly revealed that he and his wife of 25 years were getting a divorce on January 9. “We want to make people aware of a development in our lives,” Jeff wrote in his statement.

“As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends. We’ve had such a great life together as a married couple, and we also see wonderful futures ahead, as parents, friends, partners in ventures and projects, and as individuals pursuing ventures and adventures.”
