REPORTJennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt May Reunite on TV — and We Haven’t Stopped Hyperventilating

Everyone stop what they’re doing. A new rumor about early ’00s “It” couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston has made its way around the Internet, and fans are having trouble processing the news. E! alleges that someone’s been spreading gossip about a possible Jimmy Kimmel sit-down between the exes — and literally nothing would make us miss a televised interview like this!

But according to the outlet, the report is 100% false. While we do find it hard to believe that the former couple, who was married from 2000 to 2005, would agree to a candid discussion about their failed relationship, Life & Style previously revealed that Brad apologized to Jen for the pain he caused her during their highly-publicized divorce.

“Brad apologized for all the heartbreak,” an insider shared. “He doesn’t usually open up like that, but through therapy and recovery, he’s learned to express his feelings. He addressed all the hurt he caused her.” And the Friends star accepted his olive branch. “She was incredibly receptive to the amends he was making. She told him she forgives him and to focus on the future. She actually vowed to start over with him as a genuine friend,” the insider added.

Rumors about a possible reunion between the duo comes just days after Angelina Jolie spoke out about her divorce from the actor. “Things got bad. I don’t want to use that word… Things became ‘difficult,'” she told Vanity Fair. “[Our lifestyle] was not in any way a negative. That was not the problem.”

Angie also revealed how the pair’s six children are handling the split. “They’re six very strong-minded, thoughtful, worldly individuals. I’m very proud of them. [Our children have been] very brave… in times they needed to be,” she said. “We’re all just healing from the events that led to the filing… They’re not healing from the divorce. They’re healing from some… from life, from things in life.”
