Not what she needed. Jennifer Garner is reportedly irritated by her ex Ben Affleck and the recent sexual misconduct allegations made against him. According to E! News, the 45-year-old actress — who shares kids Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5, with Ben — is worried that the scandal will bring unwanted attention to her family.
“[Jennifer] is very annoyed because it just means more attention on her and the kids as a result of Ben's actions," a source told the outlet on Thursday, Oct. 12. "She tries to shield them from any and all publicity and scrutiny. She's taking her kids to school and to all of their activities. As far as they know, nothing has changed and all is well. That is always her goal, but she's been pretty frustrated with him.”
As previously reported, Ben faced major backlash after he condemned Harvey Weinstein for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple actresses, including Ashley Judd, Cara Delevingne, and Gwyneth Paltrow, among others. Rose McGowan — one of Harvey’s accusers — immediately clapped back at Ben, 45, and told him to “f--k off,” suggesting that he had partaken in similar behavior.
Not long after, a Twitter user reminded One Tree Hill alum Hilarie Burton that Ben once groped her breast on TRL in 2003. After video footage from the 14-year-old episode went viral, the Argo actor tweeted an apology on Tuesday, Oct. 10. "I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize,” he wrote.

That’s when celebrity makeup artist Annamarie Tendler took to Twitter to let Ben know that she also feels she deserves an apology for the way he treated her three years ago. "I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my a-- at a Golden Globes party in 2014,” she wrote, prompting no response from the Oscar winner.
Jennifer and Ben announced their separation in 2015 after 10 years of marriage, and officially filed for divorce this past April. They have yet to finalize their divorce. Ben has since moved on with Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus.
