Jennifer Garner on Ben Affleck's Girlfriend Lindsay Shookus: She Doesn't Care

If you think Jennifer Garner, 45, is crying over her ex husband Ben Affleck’s new relationship, think again! Life & Style exclusively learned that she is so over the 45-year-old Batman actor, and at this point she has “no issue” with his girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, 37, spending time with her kids Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.

“Ben asked Jen if it would be OK if he brought Lindsay to the kids’ school events,” an insider told us. You might expect Jen to be irate at the idea, since her ex went from 0 to 100 with this girl immediately after they broke up, but her response was much more zen. “Jen told him she had absolutely no issue with it.”

Even Ben was a little skeptical with her new, chiller outlook. “Ben kept asking Jen if she truly meant that it was fine,” explained the source. In the past, they said that “Jen would have flipped out” at the idea of Ben bringing his new lover around her children. However, after everything he put her through over the last couple of years, she just wants to be done with the drama. She no longer cares about “whatever he has going on in his life,” as long as the kids are happy and healthy.

Ben and Lindsay dove heard first into their relationship in April 2017, right around the same time that Ben and Jen finally filed for divorce after two years of separation. Since then, they’ve been together constantly. Ben even accompanied Lindsay to the Emmys on Sept. 17! The next step seems to be spending time with the kids as a couple, and as much of a bummer as that is for Jen, we’re glad he was respectful and asked her first. These two co-parent like champs!
