The drama started on Thursday morning, when the pop superstar, 47, posted a sizzling snapshot of herself posing in front of a mirror, showing off her taut tummy in a crop top and low-rise sweatpants. However, the mirror that J.Lo chose to snap her pic in front of had a slight smudge — and social media trolls were quick to claim that the blurry spot was an epic Photoshop fail.

“You have a hole on your stomach! Ur a fine woman. Why the Photoshop?” asked one perturbed fan, while another wrote, “Lol nice job w the photoshop JLo!! Pretty sad u have to use this.”

Another follower offered a backhanded compliment. “Wow abs looks great JLo!” they quipped. “I heard photoshop is the best workout these days lmao.”

It wasn’t long before the “Waiting for Tonight” singer responded to her critics. “Omg…Just a smudge on the mirror…lol…not photoshop. #lordblessthehaters #gymrat #youshouldtryit #wishtherewasphotoshopforhaters,” she wrote in the comments section.

It’s no surprise that Jennifer felt the need to defend herself. The Shades of Blue actress previously opened up to Cosmopolitan for Latinas about her past body insecurities and how she eventually learned to love the skin she’s in.

“My body was nothing out of the ordinary in my neighborhood,” Jennifer, who grew up in the Bronx, NY, told the magazine in 2013. “When I first started on television [as a Fly Girl on In Living Color], people, and even my own manager at the time, would tell me I had to make all of these changes.”

The entertainer added, “But you have to stand up and say, ‘There’s nothing wrong with me or my shape or who I am, you’re the one with the problem!’ And when you can really believe that, all of a sudden other people start believing too.”
