He got some work done! Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from Jersey Shore revealed in a preview for an upcoming episode of The Doctors that he got liposuction. Why? Because he didn’t have enough time to “Gym, Tan, and Laundry” after his daughter was born — A.K.A. he couldn’t work out as much as he wanted to. “I’ve always been a work out fanatic, and I’ve also always been in shape, but it takes a lot of hard work to stay in shape,” the 33-year-old said in a clip. “One year ago today my life completely changed. I had a little baby girl. She’s like my guardian angel, and now I can’t spend two to three hours every day in the gym like I used to.”

Ronnie’s plastic surgeon for the procedure, Dr. Christopher Khorsand, said that he was pursuing a type of laser liposuction of the abdomen that was not available ten years ago. “We’re going to be able to get that area in between each of his abs completely defined so that he actually has a six-pack for many, many years to come,” the doctor noted. The procedure reportedly costs anywhere from a whopping $20,000 to $30,000.

Unfortunately, it sounds like Ronnie didn’t have the greatest recuperation experience after getting the liposuction done. While in recovery, the reality TV personality said, “I’m feeling like complete crap. It has not been a good experience.” Yikes. The Doctors host Dr. Travis Stork said in the taped segment that Ronnie had the work done “just a few days ago,” but it’s not totally clear exactly when the MTV star got the procedure.

This is not the first revelation Ronnie has made in recent months. For instance, in February, he admitted that he entered a rehab facility. The reality star told Us Weekly at the time, “I decided to go to treatment because I wanted to be a better person, a better father for my daughter … Eventually, all the bad decisions I was making were going to lead me to places that I didn’t want to be. I wanted to be led to the place that I am now — that’s happy, healthy and the best role model for my daughter.” If Ronnie got a little bit of help to be as happy with his physical health as well, more power to him.
