She may have found her happily-ever-after with husband Roger Mathews, but it wasn't long ago that Jersey Shore Family Vacation star Jenni "JWoww" Farley was embroiled in legal drama with ex Tom Lippolis. She even accused him of physical abuse, and the drama got so intense, the Jersey Shore house became a refuge. Here's the backstory…

In a 2011 episode of Jersey Shore After Hours, Jenni opened up about her saga with Tom, saying she was "stressed" from emotional and physical abuse. She said he tormented her, even threatening to let loose her dogs if she made a mistake. "He had control over my life," she said. "I felt like I created that monster."

The reality star continued, "His insecurities got the best of him. In Long Island, he cut all my friends away from me, my family. I couldn't even go out with my girlfriends to have a drink. He had to be there."

Tom even got physical with JWoww, she claimed. "The day that I left for Jersey, he threw my luggage down the stairs, because he saw clothes in there that weren't acceptable. And I went with the luggage," she said. "He pushed me down the stairs and said, 'I can't wait to f–k another [girl] in your bed while you're gone.' And I was like, 'Get me out of this house.'" (Friend and Jersey Shore co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi said JWoww getting to Seaside Heights and surrounding herself with friends was "the best thing that could have happened to [her].")

But that's not all: Tom also sued JWoww, saying she owed him for $700,000 of work he did as her manager. Meanwhile, she won an injunction against him to stop him from releasing nude photos of her. For his part, Tom maintained he never intended to release the pics and said JWoww "concocted this whole ordeal herself" to affect his lawsuit, according to NBC News.

According to his Instagram profile, Tom is still living in New Jersey these days. Describing himself as a "techno enthusiast," he posts updates about his home renovations, his family and friends, and his support for Donald Trump. Meanwhile, JWoww is enjoying the second wind of her reality TV career and the third year of her marriage to Roger Mathews… and we bet she's glad her 2010s are ending on a much higher note.
