There was definitely some trouble in ~paradise~ for Bachelor Nation's JJ Lane and Juelia Kinney when they attempted to salvage their relationship on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. In an exclusive clip for Friday night's all-new episode, The Bachelorette alum broke down after saying what he considered to be some "hurtful" things about his ex.
In this particular challenge, the couples were encouraged to write down their concerns about their partners and relationships on paper — and JJ's co-stars Bobby Panahi from Shahs of Sunset and Kailyn Lowry from Teen Mom 2 couldn't figure out why he was having such a hard time. "The one thing I don't want to do in this process is have Juelia find out I said hurtful things about her," he admitted during a confessional.

The mother-of-one seemingly didn't mind laying all of her cards on the table and told cameras, "I really do want to put on paper everything that I'm feeling. Hopefully, it will help things come to the surface or make me realize things I need to address. Either way, I think it's going to be good."
We know boot camp could not save this relationship, as Juelia has since moved on with Evan Bass' brother, Aaron, and JJ is now dating a ~mystery woman~ who is "not related to any TV." He told Life & Style last week, "I wanted a normal human being that wasn't worried about her Instagram following and how many views she got on her Instagram story, so thank goodness." The blonde beauty also shared the reason they broke up was "based on information from boot camp, which is the whole purpose of doing it. We just realized we weren't compatible."
Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on We TV. Watch the full trailer below!
