‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Star Josh Murray Blocked Amanda Stanton’s Number After She Reached out to Him (EXCLUSIVE)
Despite the fact that Josh Murray wants his ex-fiancée Amanda Stanton to “move on” following their nasty breakup, a source tells Life & Style that the mother-of-two is desperately trying to reconcile with the 32-year-old.
Even though Amanda — who got engaged to Josh on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise — headed back to Mexico this summer for a third shot at love (she also competed on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor), the source claims she’s still hung up on the Georgia native.
“Amanda has been begging Josh to take her back. He blocked her number, but she still emailed him,” the source shares.
The former professional baseball player confirmed to Life & Style at a recent event that the 27-year-old contacted him when production on the current season of BiP was suspended last month, but added, “I’ve moved on in my life.”
Ultimately, Josh just wants the best for Amanda. “I want her to be happy,” he said, “I want her to do well.”
After announcing their breakup in January, Amanda stated that she was excited to focus on her daughters, Charlie and Kinsley. “Hopefully somewhere down the road I’ll meet the right person,” she said. “But, I’m not really going to go out and look for it right now. I’m just taking a break from dating for a little bit.”
As for her split, the blonde beauty got teary while talking about it. “I think he knew he was going to date me, so I think he kind of pretended to be exactly what he knew I wanted,” she admitted to E! “I almost broke up with him while the show was airing… I wanted to keep trying because I kept thinking about our first date on the show and how excited I was about him and I think that’s what made me keep trying.”
Both of these reality stars could use a clean break.
