Justin Hartley Is a Father of One — Meet the ‘This Is Us’ Actor’s Daughter Isabella
He may be most known for playing a swinging bachelor on the massively popular NBC show This Is Us, but in the real world, Justin Hartley is a devoted father to his daughter, Isabella.
The actor welcomed his only child on July 3, 2004, with his wife at the time, Lindsay Korman. The pair had tie the knot just one year prior. Unfortunately, the couple would part ways in 2012, citing “irreconcilable differences.” However, Justin has made it very clear that he and his ex are all about being fantastic coparents to their daughter.
“Communication and an understanding of where everyone’s coming from and realizing that it’s hard,” the Passions alum told Us Weekly about what it takes to be successful at coparenting. “As much as you try to put yourself in other people’s shoes, you’re never fully going to be able to do it, but you should just make the effort.” Justin revealed that he and Lindsay are on good terms — he even had quite the praise for her.
“She’s very resourceful, so I’m thankful that that’s the case (and) I get a lot of help from my ex-wife,” he told the outlet. “I get a lot of help from my daughter. I mean, she’s the one that’s making it all go around. She deserves all the credit.”
Justin would go on to marry again — he said I do to actress Chrishell Stause in October 2017. Although, the two would split in November 2019. But not to worry, the TV star will always have Isabella’s love, even though she is getting older and beginning to date.
“She’s dating a little bit and I just want to crawl into a hole and die,” Justin joked during an appearance on The Tonight Show. “I know it’s a natural thing, it’s a healthy thing. She’s wonderful, she’s sweet, she’s responsible, she’s great, she’s earned the trust, but I hate it.”
“I loved her first, man,” he explained to the host. Well, we know that Justin will always be the number one guy in his daughter’s life.
