Postpartum slimdown! Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry flaunted her post-baby body while wearing a sports bra and bike shorts in a photo taken less than two weeks after giving birth to baby No. 4, son Creed.

The 28-year-old shared the picture on Saturday, August 15, which featured her bare midsection, while responding to a fan via a Q&A session on Instagram Stories. “Hey boo. May you please vlog again on YouTube with the boys. I miss y’all,” the fan wrote. Kail responded, “Yes! I will try. Once I’m cleared to work out I was going to try to vlog through my fitness journey! If I can find an editor to help with videos, I’ll do that!”

It seems like the MTV mama is already planning to hit the gym in order to get back in shape after giving birth to her fourth son. Generally, most physicians advise new moms to wait at least six to eight weeks before they begin a workout regimen.

Kail has always been open about her struggle with weight and body image. “For years I struggled with eating disorders, and I was extremely self-conscious about my weight,” she revealed in her book Hustle and Heart. “I’d committed so thoroughly to working out and maintaining a healthy diet, but it was clear there was only so much I could do to change the shape of my body.”

In 2016, Kail decided to undergo plastic surgery to achieve her ideal figure. She chose celeb surgeon Michael “Dr. Miami” Salzhauer, and he performed liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a Brazilian butt lift, which is when fat is transferred from the stomach area to the booty.

“My decision to get plastic surgery came down to one simple thing: I’m human,” she wrote in her book. “I care how I look. I knew that being satisfied with my outer appearance would give me the confidence I needed to face the world head on. For me, the things that I wanted to change about my body were nagging little distractions from the deeper missions I wanted to work on.”

After her surgery, Kail got pregnant and gave birth to third son Lux in 2017. She struggled to lose the baby weight and she got candid with a fan during another Q&A session in April 2019. “My weight fluctuates more than anyone I know,” she wrote at the time. “Most likely due to my poor eating habits and doing well for weeks, then bad again.” It seems like now, she’s as motivated as ever to begin a healthy lifestyle.
