Kanye West Update: Rapper Handcuffed Before Being Taken to the Hospital (REPORT)
New details about Kanye West‘s hospitalization on Monday night have emerged, and it appears as though the rapper did not go willingly.
According to Fire Department dispatch calls obtained by TMZ, the 39-year-old’s situation was labeled as a “psychiatric emergency.” Police were called to the home of his trainer, Harley Pasternak, where the Grammy winner was said to be acting “erratically.”

Sources say that although Kanye was calmer by the time paramedics arrived, he was taken to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation — and was handcuffed to a stretcher.

All of this comes just hours after the performer canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour due to exhaustion.
His wife, Kim Kardashian, was supposed to make her first public appearance in NYC since being robbed at gunpoint in early October, but flew back to LA instead to be by his side.
