Witnessing Kim Kardashian without makeup certainly proves the power of a good glam squad. The Kardashian sisters look like completely different people without major contour, sexy smokey eyes, and mega pouts. If you strip away the lip kits and fake lashes, the fam could almost be considered — dare we say — normal.

Though Kim has built a beauty brand around her obsession with contouring, the 37-year-old’s makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, revealed that every once in a while, the mother-of-two likes to rock a fresh face. In fact, she made headlines in Oct. 2016 — just hours before she was robbed at gunpoint — for attending the Balenciaga show sans cosmetics during Paris Fashion Week.

Mario posted a picture of her on Instagram at the show, captioning it, “Obsessed ❤️ No makeup today at @balenciaga ???? Moisturized #ByMario #kimkardashianhair laid by @chrisappleton1.”

Kim Kardashian without makeup doesn’t happen often, but the Balenciaga show isn’t the first (or last) time she has gone bare-faced. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took it all off when chilling with one of her besties Raquel Smith — and her face was luminous.
