Kate Middleton and Sister Pippa Secretly Feuding Because of Meghan Markle!
Three’s company! Jealously is coming between Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa — and Meghan Markle joining the royal family is to blame.
Following the actress’ exciting engagement to Prince Harry, sources are revealing that the sisters, who used to be “thick as thieves” are secretly feuding. “They used to do everything together and speak daily,” an insider tells In Touch. “But now that Meghan lives practically under the same roof as Kate at Kensington Palace, the dynamics have changed and Pippa feels shoved out.”
When Pippa, 34, shared her feelings with the Duchess of Cambridge, who is also expecting baby No. 3 in April, she left feeling hurt. “Kate fought back and told Pippa that it’s her duty to make Meghan feel welcomed,” the source says, before adding that Kate also accused her sister of overreacting.
This does not mean Pippa is not a fan of the Suits star. “Pippa likes Meghan but doesn’t want to lose her sister to Harry’s bride-to-be,” the insider explains. Despite the tension between the Middleton sisters, it looks like Meghan is fitting right in with the royals.
“She really enjoyed it. The family loved having her there,” Prince Harry, 33, said on Radio 4’s Today program of her first Christmas in London. “There’s always that family part of Christmas [where] there’s always that work element there as well, and I think together we had an amazing time,” he said. “We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running round with the kids. Christmas was fantastic.”
He added, “She’s done an absolutely amazing job, she’s getting in there and it’s the family that I suppose she’s never had.” Kate, 35, has also publicly gushed about Meghan, telling reporters last month, “William and I are absolutely thrilled. It’s such exciting news. It’s a really happy time for any couple and we wish them all the best and hope they enjoy this happy moment.”
