Kendall Jenner Was Hospitalized Just Days Before Oscar Weekend (REPORT)
While Kendall Jenner‘s mini dress might have been one of the most talked about outfits at the Vanity Fair Oscars’ afterparty, her preparation for the carpet wasn’t just fittings and glam. The Blast reported the 22-year-old was hospitalized just days before the big weekend after she had a bad reaction to a vitamin drip.
Kendall allegedly checked in to Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills, was treated for the reaction, and released shortly after. It’s not clear why Kendall received the treatment, but — according to Shape magazine — this fad is popular among lots of other celebrities including Rihanna, Rita Ora, Madonna, and Simon Cowell.
These celebrities — or really anyone else who wants the treatment — typically pay between $95 and $175 for the vitamin infusion that can help with a number of things such as boosting immunity, de-stressing, overcoming jet lag, fat burning, and curing a hangover.
According to Jesse Sandhu, medical director of VitaSquad — a medical spa in Miami Beach — vitamin infusions have an immediate effect. He told Shape, “Although there haven’t been any randomized controlled studies, people notice an immediate dramatic effect after receiving an infusion.”
Unfortunately, in Kendall’s case, her reported reaction wasn’t a positive one. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has yet to comment on the alleged hospitalization, but she seemingly bounced back rather quickly as she strutted her stuff at the Oscars afterparty at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
Kendall posed for the cameras and even hung out with some of her closest pals including Hailey Baldwin, Joan Smalls, Phoebe Tonkin, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The one person Kendall didn’t take photos with at the soiree? Caitlyn Jenner.
