Kendall Jenner was on The Tonight Show last night and mainly talked about the connection she had with a horse in Paris (no, we’re not joking), but she also had something to say about Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber‘s engagement. The trio has been friends for quite some time now, but her answer was kinda-sorta, vaguely bleh. Skip to minute 4:55… unless you want to hear about the horse.

“Whatever makes them happy, I’m happy,” she said. “I’ve been friends with both of them for a very long time. Everybody’s happy, so it makes me happy.” Lol. Ok. 

These days, the 22-year-old is keeping her answers short and sweet — after she received backlash last month for her interview with LOVE magazine. The model revealed she was “super selective” about which shows she does, which infuriated other fellow models who need those jobs to make a living. 

“Since the beginning, we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f—k those girls do,” she told the publication. “More power to ’em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming, and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.”

Needless to say, her response didn’t go over too well. Russian supermodel Daria Strokous, 27, took to Instagram at the time to share a screenshot and wrote “‘Whatever the f—k those girls do’ is do their very best to make their way up AND try to make some money so that they can provide for themselves and their families,” she wrote, before adding, “Oh, and it’s 70 shows a season by the way and we are all f–king proud of every single one of the girls that did it.” 

So yeah, no wonder she was super vague when asked about the Biebs. Not to mention, she was once rumored to be dating the pop star. Or at least having sex with him… #Awk.
