Happy Anniversary, Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett!

The famous couple celebrated nine years since their first meeting on Tuesday, March 21 — both sharing adorable messages about one another on Instagram. They met back in 2008 at a golfing event for Playboy, and the mother-of-two revealed that it was love at first sight for the couple.

“[Nine] years ago I met the person who would take me all the way to the top and hold me there even during the weakest times,” the reality star wrote in her caption. “We met that day out on the golf course and knew he was mine.”

Though the couple is now in a strong place, that didn’t stop the blonde beauty from acknowledging the hardships they’ve gone through in their relationship.

“Even with [a] little bump in the road, nothing or nobody can be greater or make me feel more successful than [Hank]. Imperfection is where great change and growth happens with us,” she wrote. “We are true best friends who f–k good, fight good, golf good, BBQ and drink beer good… Thank you Hank for being there on the golf course that day and being that shy guy. Thank [you] for my happiness and our children… here's to eternity.”

The “little bump” most likely refers to the cheating scandal that plagued the couple over two years ago. Back in 2014, when the duo was expecting their second child, daughter Alijah, Hank was caught cheating on his wife with a transgender model. The couple stuck it out, however, and even appeared on Marriage Boot Camp in 2015 to help fix their marriage.

The famous footballer also shared a sweet note to his wife. In a snap that was taken on the day they met, the soon-to-be couple smiled for the camera while dressed in Playboy gear.

“In life you're told to go with your gut. Well, 9 years ago I did just that,” he wrote in the caption. “I sit here 8 years later having it all, and by all I mean my family. Kendra, Lil Hank and Alijah. Had I skipped the tournament as planned who knows where I'd be… Things happen for a reason and I'm eternally grateful they did that day! I love you bayba!!”

Well, we guess this couple proves that when the going gets tough, the tough get going — Congratulations!
