13-year-old Kennedy Holmes’ may be the youngest contestant on The Voice, but she’s definitely the strongest so far — and you’ll think so too, after watching her audition tape. Season 15 of the popular singing show premiered on Monday, Sept. 24, and things were going pretty well until Kennedy took the competition to a whole different level. Watch Kennedy Holmes’ audition video below and prepare to be amazed!

Kennedy performed Adele’s “Turning Tables” and made all four judges — Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Jennifer Hudson — turn around in their chairs. “I think she could win,” Blake said right after her performance. “I really do.” The country singer told Kennedy that he thought she was “the best vocalist that has auditioned this year,” and hoped the compliment would make her want to be on his team. However, Kennedy had other plans. She told Jennifer Hudson that she has “dreamed” of singing with her ever since she was a little girl. In fact, Kennedy chose to sing JHud’s “I Am Changing” for her first performance ever in school. It was that moment that Kennedy’s mother realized the extent of her daughter’s talent.

After Kennedy fangirled over the former American Idol singer, JHud decided to get on stage and perform with her! “It was an honor and pleasure just to sing with you,” Jennifer told her afterwards. At that point, it was clear Kennedy would be team #JenniferHudson all the way. Better luck next time, Blake!

We’ll obviously see plenty more of Kennedy as the competition continues — and her parents, too! The 13-year-old explained that her mom is very “loving” and “beautiful” and everything to her, so it was no surprise she was there to support her daughter that evening. But Kennedy’s dad was also in the room, and even shared a sweet moment with her right before she auditioned. “I know I’m your dad,” he said, “but I also look up to you.”

So, will Kennedy win The Voice? It looks like there’s a chance! Be sure to follow her journey every Monday and Tuesday night on NBC at 8:00 p.m!
