According to a source who spoke with In Touch, all signs point to “yes,” meaning that KoKo’s new bling is more than just a fashion statement.
“Tristan gave it to her,” the insider shared. “She’s being coy about what it stands for, but everyone assumes it’s an engagement ring. It’s the biggest ring I’ve ever seen. She is planning a huge party in a few weeks, which she’s saying is for her birthday, but my guess is that’s when she’ll tell everyone she’s engaged.”
It makes sense that Khloé would be hesitant to share the big news with her loved ones. “Ninety-nine percent of Khloé’s friends and family are against it,” the source says. Regardless, Khloé is “determined to have this wedding no matter what.” But there are many reasons why a wedding could be a “recipe for disaster,” according to the source. “Weddings are always full of surprises and unexpected snags, but Khloé’s sounds like a ticking time bomb. Any one of Tristan’s groupie girlfriends could crash just to make headlines!” And it’s true — Tristan shares an 18-month-old son, Prince, with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, so it’s likely she’d attend. “There’s a rumor that Tristan wants Jordan to attend with Prince, since he’s True’s big brother,” the source explains.
On top of that, Khloé’s own family could cause major drama. Not only would Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have an awkward run-in with their significant others (Younes Bendjima and Sofia Richie, respectively), but there’s a good chance “[Kim Kardashian] might not even attend.” The mother of three might have been friendly toward Tristan when they documented their reconciliation on social media, but “she hasn’t forgiven him for cheating on Khloé while she was pregnant, and Kim knows he’ll do it again,” the source says.
At this point, the details of Khloé and Tristan’s future together are still unclear — but either way, Kris Jenner doesn’t seem to have much of a say in it. “Kris hates what Tristan did to Khloé,” the insider continues, "and she thinks this will end badly.”
