Khloe Kardashian Gives 1st Glimpse of Baby No. 2 With Tristan Thompson: Photos
Meet Khloé’s baby! Khloé Kardashian gave the first glimpse of baby No. 2 during the season 2 premiere of The Kardashians, which aired on Thursday, September 22.
“Ever since December, it’s been this dark cloud looming over me. Every single day, I’ve been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy,” Khloé gushed after the arrival of her sweet son. “It’s almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me.”
The Good American founder also revealed his birthday is July 28.
The reality star revealed she was expecting her second child with ex Tristan Thompson via surrogate on July 13.
“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” a rep for Khloé, 38, told In Touch. “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family.”
The former couple are already the parents to 4-year-old daughter True, whom they welcomed on April 12, 2018.
While Khloé and Tristan dated on and off from 2016 until 2021, it appears that they plan to coparent their second child without rekindling their romance.
The exes are expecting their second baby following their final split in December 2021. At the time, it was revealed that the NBA player had cheated on the Kardashians star with Maralee Nichols. The former fitness trainer welcomed her and Tristan’s son, Theo, in December. Tristan also shares son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.
Tristan initially denied paternity of Maralee’s child, claiming that the pair did not have a “serious, ongoing relationship” but spent time together “sporadically” from December 2020 to March 2021. However, a paternity test eventually confirmed Tristan to be the father of Maralee’s child in January.
He later broke his silence in a statement on his Instagram Stories. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son,” he wrote at the time. “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
Fans watched Khloé and her family learn about the paternity scandal during the first season of The Kardashians. During the June 9 episode, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner learned that Tristan was being sued by Maralee for child support.
“This is Tristan talking — these are his words. This is his whole declaration. He is asking for a paternity test and admitting that he had sex with her,” Kim, 41, told her sisters during a phone call. “Khloé threw him his 30th birthday. So, he went home from the 30th birthday party, went to Houston, Texas, to play on the road — we can check his schedule — and then slept with this girl.”
Kim added that Khloé would have a hard time learning that Tristan was expecting a child with someone else. “The whole thing that is so sad is that she wanted a baby boy. And now this girl is having f–king baby boy. A f–king random that he slept with one night? F–k him. I was so team him,” the Skims mogul said.
“It’s just insane in general,” Kylie, 25, said of the situation. “This is a never-ending swirl.” Kourtney, 43, replied, “It’s a never-ending betrayal, is what it is.”
