One year after her traumatizing Paris robbery, Kim Kardashian was once again the target of a burglar. This time, Kim and husband Kanye West‘s cars were ransacked by a thief, who fled the scene without entering their home —
and Kim is not coping well after the terrifying ordeal.

“Kim is dealing with pretty severe anxiety right now. This ended well and everyone is safe but it’s triggered her PTSD,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life. “She’s experiencing the trauma from the Paris attack all over again. If this had happened a few years ago it would have been upsetting but it wouldn’t have triggered her this badly.”

According to TMZ, the suspect went through three cars at the end of the couple’s driveway and got away with a staffer’s cell phone. The incident took place around 4 a.m. Friday morning, when security guards at the LA mansion spotted the individual and chased him off. However, he was captured on the home’s surveillance system.

Kim, 36, and Kanye, 40, were not the only celebs targeted by the thief. He also made off with the purse of comedian Kathy Griffin, who lives next door to the famous couple. Her purse, fortunately, was ditched nearby. We can’t imagine this is the way Kim was hoping to kick off her birthday weekend.

Last year, Kim was robbed in Paris, with thieves tying her up in the bathtub and making off with $10 million worth of jewelry. So far, 10 people have been arrested in connection to the crime, and the KUWTK beauty has opened up about the scary experience on her reality show.

“They ask for money. I said I don’t have any money,” the mother-of-two told her sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian. “They dragged me out onto the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs.”

She continued, “I was like, ‘I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision.’ Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? It makes me so upset to think about it. Either they’re going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I’m f–ked. There’s no way out.”
