We Made Kris Jenner's Mac and Cheese Recipe and She Should Be One #ProudMama

There are few things I love more than mac and cheese. A tropical vacation, a roomful of puppies, the sound the vacuum makes when you suck up a lot of s--t. Okay, maybe not the latter, but seriously, how satisfying is that? The point is, mac and cheese is possibly the greatest food of all time (and I'm quite the connoisseur), so when I decided to give Kris Jenner's so-called "fabulous" recipe a try, I had high expectations. Mainly because I spent $50 to make it — yes, $50. Not sure why I'm surprised when they make more in one minute than I do in a year, but I digress.

Before I created this masterpiece of ooey-gooey goodness, I had to pick up the ~expensive AF~ ingredients first. I should also mention that this recipe is from Kris's cookbook, In the Kitchen with Kris and it's inspired by her daughter Kim Kardashian's recipe. TBH, I'm having a hard time believing the Kar-Jenner clan eats the food of us plebians, let alone has had a carb since 2006. Nevertheless, grab an apron and let's get kooking!

Kim's Super Cheesy Macaroni and Cheese

If you're exhausted after reading that, you're not alone. 14,539 ingredients aside, the process itself was fairly straightforward. Basically, boil the pasta like you normally would, throw all the cheese together until it melts, pop it in the oven, and voilà!

Luckily, I wasn't alone in the process. My roommates — as well as my friend who flew all the way from England just to try this!!! — were my taste testers. Okay, he just happened to be visiting. One of my roommates, who ironically is named Kris (LOL), said that she "didn't know mac and cheese could taste this good." Way to go, other Kris! I like to think my cooking skills also had something to do with it too. No? OK.

Before popping it in the oven, I obv. had to taste test, and TBH, I preferred how it tasted then. I'm a fan of a good panko crust, but I tend to prefer a creamier mac and cheese. But that's just me! Oh, and apparently eating things with raw eggs is frowned upon, so there's also that.

Overall, though, 10/10 would recommend. Plus, now that the self-proclaimed "#ProudMama" has more grandbabies on the way, we have a feeling this recipe will be requested a lot. Momager, reality star, chef? If there anything this woman kan't do?!
