You Guys, Just Because Kylie Jenner Is Wearing a Cartier Ring Doesn’t Mean She’s Engaged
It’s not unusual for Kylie Jenner to rock Cartier jewelry — even when it’s a ring on that finger — but that didn’t stop fans from speculating that she’s engaged to baby daddy Travis Scott after she posted a new photo of herself wearing the bling while holding baby Stormi on Instagram.
“Nice engagement ring,” one fan noticed in the comments. Another tweeted, “Kylie are you engaged I see that ring on your finger ?? @KylieJenner.”
Despite the fact that Kylie has yet to clear up the engagement rumors, Travis most likely didn’t propose. In January — before the new parents confirmed they had welcomed a baby girl into the world — a source told People, “There are no plans for them to get married or even engaged. It’s not anything that Kylie seems to be focused on.”
So while they are still together, a source exclusively told Life & Style that the beauty mogul and Travis are having some problems. “Travis has barely seen Kylie since the baby was born. Kylie’s pissed. She feels like Travis is putting his career before her and the baby. They’re constantly at each other’s throats.”
Not only are they butting heads about the amount of time Travis spends with Stormi, but also the role the baby will have when it comes to the Kardashian/Jenner empire. The source said, “Travis is an extremely private person and really doesn’t want to have anything to do with their family brand. And he doesn’t want Stormi to be on Keeping Up With the Kardashians or any of the family’s spin-offs either.”
So while her future with Travis might be uncertain, they have been photographed together a few times since the birth. Kylie even shared a video on her Instagram story of a $1.4 million Ferrari where she can be heard saying, “push present.”
Typically, a significant other gifts the new mom with a push present to congratulate her on giving birth. So while she may not have an engagement ring on her finger right now, the Ferrari is a good placeholder until Travis is ready to pop the question!
