It’s been almost two weeks since news of Kylie Jenner‘s pregnancy broke, and fans are baffled by the fact that the 20-year-old has yet to confirm she’s expecting. But given the way her family reacted, we don’t blame her.

A Kardashian insider reveals to Life & Style that Kylie “was scared to death” to tell those closest to her about the baby. “She told her mother first, then her sisters, then her father,” explains the source. But, “this pregnancy has caused so much friction in the family. With all their opposing opinions and feelings, everyone has been at war.”

While everyone was overjoyed to hear that Khloé Kardashian, who’s wanted to start a family for years, was expecting, no one celebrated that Kylie, who’s barely out of her teens, got knocked up by boyfriend Travis Scott. Though momager Kris Jenner was upset at first, she quickly found a silver lining.

“She sees dollar signs and ratings,” the insider admits. “There are a lot of money-making options.” As Life & Style previously reported, Kris thinks a maternity line designed by the lip kit mogul would be perfect. “She’s thinking maternity fashion for younger moms, and she’s already offering to set up meetings,” a source told the Daily Mail. “If Kylie embraced the young mommy market, she could take it over.”

Unfortunately, her way of thinking has only made her ongoing feud with Kylie’s dad, Caitlyn Jenner, worse. “Caitlyn has in no way accepted that having a baby at this age is a good idea,” the Kardashian insider shares. In fact, a recent report claimed the 67-year-old was “shocked and disappointed” to learn that her youngest child is becoming a mother. “Caitlyn is concerned that Kylie and Travis really haven’t been dating very long, and that a baby will put a big strain on their relationship, but Kylie believes the exact opposite.”
