Kylie Jenner Reveals the Romantic Backstory Behind the “Stormi” Necklace She Got From Travis Scott
For the first time ever, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott opened up about their love story in a joint interview for GQ Magazine. While we learned a lot about how they communicate, fight, and co-parent their daughter, Stormi Webster, we also learned that the 26-year-old rapper is a true romantic. When Kylie was asked to explain the most romantic thing her baby daddy has ever done for her, she didn’t hold back.
The makeup mogul first explained how she flew to Houston to see Travis for a few hours after the couple got in a “little fight.” Since she considers her boyfriend part of her family now, she felt like she had to see him immediately in order to resolve it. “So! When I landed in Houston to make up, he — I always kept saying I really want a Stormi chain, so when I landed, he had one made for me.” While getting your girlfriend a necklace with your daughter’s name on it is pretty adorable, it wasn’t the icing on the cake for Ky. “But probably the most romantic thing he’s done for me is, on my birthday, he woke me up out of bed at like six in the morning. He was like, ‘We gotta go,’ and I’m just like half asleep, like, ‘What do you mean? What do you mean?’ And he just starts pulling me, and the sun was just coming up, and he had flowers all the way down his house and violin players everywhere.” Yes, that sounds magical, but 6:00 a.m., Travis? Girl needs her beauty rest.
Either way, it’s clear from the interview that Kylie and her man are head over heels in love — plus, their chemistry in GQ’s new YouTube video is unreal. The two sat down to play a game where Kylie asked Travis 23 questions about herself. The questions ranged from “What are the names of my dogs?” to “What are my parents’ birth names?” and everything in-between. Travis answered pretty much all of them correctly, minus a few at the beginning. (Give him a break… it was a rough start.) But TBH, we were impressed. Way to go, Travis!
