This year’s season of The Bachelor was a wild ride. Just when you thought Arie Luyendyk Jr. finally found love with Becca Kufrin, he totally flip-flopped and proposed (again) to Lauren Burnham.

Earlier this week, the seemingly happy couple have fled the country to get away from the scrutiny — even though they can’t stop documenting their entire journey on social media — so we decided to find out more about Lauren and if she’s really as boring as she came across on camera.

She has a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Lauren referred to it as her highest athletic achievement in her Bachelor bio. She also revealed that if she could be any fictional character, she’d be Elsa from Frozen “because I’ve always wanted to be a Disney princess.” Who hasn’t?! As for her biggest date night pet peeve, Lauren said she hates it when a guy “texts at dinner.”

Lauren has a sister — and fans think she looks like Kylie Jenner!

Laur brought Arie home to meet her fam during hometowns, but fans were so fixated on her sister, they didn’t pay much attention to how it all went down! Bachelor nation was saying she looked like Kylie Jenner — pre lip injections, of course. And TBH, we totally see it! As evidenced by her Instagram, Lauren also has a brother named Luke, who’s in third grade.

Her job is currently listed as a tech salesperson (so, she’s like legit employed).

According to LinkedIn, the Virginia Beach native has worked at phone service company Vontage as a business solutions sales executive since February 2017. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, though she spent one year studying pre-medicine at Central Washington University.

She’s obsessed with her dog — who’s insanely adorable!

The 5’5″ stunner’s Instagram is riddled with pics of her pooch, whom she lovingly refers to as “Lil D.” Next to one particularly sweet photo, Lauren wrote, “There’s nothing better than a doodle hug.” Who needs Arie when you have true love like that?!

She and Arie will wed in 2018.

Now that Arie has made up his mind for good — we hope! — he and Lauren are moving on to planning their wedding. “Arie was talking about [doing it in] August,” Lauren’s mom, Pamela, exclusively told Life & Style. “I’m hoping it will be in the summer.”
