17-Year-Old Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon Gives Birth to a Baby Girl

Congrats are in order for Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and her fiancé, Joshua Efird! The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star and her soon-to-be hubby took to Twitter early Friday morning to announce the birth of their little girl, Ella Grace.

"Today at 5:01am me and josh officially became parents to a precious 7lb 14oz baby girl. Everyone meet Ella Grace Efird." So sweet!

Back in August, the 17-year-old reality star announced she was expecting. "So now that the news is out me and josh are expecting a little one ❤️. So happy to start this new adventure with him 👶🏻. Love you baby 😘," she wrote on Twitter. But as the due date neared closer, she revealed she was scared about the delivery. "I'm really nervous about having a baby 'cause, I mean, it does have to come out of my hoo-ha," she said in a video. "My baby daddy’s head is, like, the size of a freakin' watermelon, so imagine trying to push a watermelon out of your vagina."

Last year, In Touch reported that Josh, who works as a mechanic, proposed to Pumpkin at a restaurant after almost one year of dating — but not everyone was happy about the nuptials! "I think they're too young for marriage. I hope they have a long engagement," Josh's grandmother Linda told Radar Online at the time. "She's very sweet, and I love my grandson."
