Leah Remini Wants to Go Head-to-Head With Tom Cruise Over Scientology (EXCLUSIVE)
Actress Leah Remini is planning to take down the Church of Scientology!
The Kevin Can Wait star left the Church in 2013, and has openly criticized the controversial religion ever since. In fact, she’s even spoken out against former friend and avid Scientologist, Tom Cruise. Life & Style has exclusively learned that the actress is ready to take it one step further and plans to confront the 54-year-old in person on her A&E show, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.

“Leah had planned to ambush Tom at the LA premiere of The Mummy,” says a source. But the movie didn’t have a California premiere, which “Leah thinks is very suspicious.”
The 46-year-old isn’t the only one who’s gone after Tom over his strict beliefs. Ex-wife Katie Holmes has opened up about how the religion impacted her marriage and the actor’s relationship with his daughter, Suri.

Leah’s TV show was renewed for a second season and is set to return this summer. Unsurprisingly, the Church has vehemently denied any accusations she’s made against them.

“What distinguishes your ‘reality’ show from others is its singular goal of seeking profit from spreading hate and bigotry,” a statement from them reads. “Leah Remini has nothing better to do with her life and her career than to spread bigotry and hatred and to foment violent prejudice with your anti-religious ‘reality’ TV show.”
