Covering Esquire magazine’s May issue, Leonardo DiCaprio explains why he currently doesn’t have a girlfriend.
“Six months of being on location or being off in Morocco or someplace like that is not the best thing for a relationship,” The Great Gatsby star says.
“A lot of your life is put on hold when you make movies,” Leo said earlier this year. “Everything, whether personal relationships or friendships, is put on ice when you go on location for five or six months, away from everybody.”
The swoon-worthy star did recently admit he’s ready to take a “long, long break” from acting, so perhaps he’ll find Mrs. Right during his hiatus.
And even though he’s constantly surrounded by gorgeous women, he doesn’t consider himself much of a ladies’ man.
“I had better success meeting girls before Titanic,” he’s said. “My interactions with them didn't have all the stigma behind it, not to mention there wasn't a perception of her talking to me for only one reason."
Eh, we’re pretty sure he wouldn’t have trouble finding a girlfriend if he went looking for one.
