We really feel for Britney Spears.

The first trailer for Lifetime’s upcoming movie about the superstar’s life was just released, and it doesn’t shy away from any of the Louisiana native’s public rough patches. In fact, a prominent scene in the promo shows the singer getting her head shaved during her 2007 breakdown.

According to the network, the film will detail “the tumultuous story of pop icon Britney Spears’ rise to fame, fall from grace and eventual triumphant resurrection, firmly securing her position as one of the world’s greatest entertainers.” Natasha Bassett stars as the blonde beauty, while Nathan Keyes plays Justin Timberlake and Clayton Chitty takes on the role of her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

“I’m not gonna say I was fine, cause I wasn’t,” Natasha as Britney says (with a questionable Southern accent) in the clip. “Everything’s just kind of this blur, you know? Until you hit rock bottom. I wanna be strong for my fans. They’re what keeps me going.”

In addition to that infamous salon visit, the trailer teases clips of Britney in concert, being photographed by the paparazzi, her wedding to Kevin, and that time she repeatedly hit a car with an umbrella.

The mother-of-two’s rep previously revealed that she doesn’t support the movie. “Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic nor does it have her blessing,” a statement to Us Weekly read. The channel is notorious for making unauthorized biopics, such as The Brittany Murphy Story and The Saved by the Bell Story.

But former ‘NSYNC band member Lance Bass, who will be depicted on-screen, said he’ll definitely be tuning in. “I love Lifetime movies. Of course I’ll watch it! I get to see a little me on there.”
