The Ultimate Ranking of Lindsay Lohan’s Movies — the Good, the Bad, and the Lifetime

There's no denying that Lindsay Lohan has been through a lot over the years. She’s been an adorable, precocious little actress, a Disney Channel superstar, a teen screen queen, a hot but uninsurable mess, and now, maybe, finally, something starting to approach normal again (well, except for that accent).

That’s right. LiLo is making a comeback, after many attempts at other comebacks along the way. But here’s the thing. If you actually sit down to watch her movies — even the bad ones, even the ones where she was going totally off the rails off-screen, we’re not just talking about the legendary Mean Girls — she still did a pretty good job. LiLo is a great actress, guys. It’s just, sometimes that gets a little lost in everything else going on at the moment.

But she's back and is even starring in a new show with Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint (if Ron Weasley is in it, you know it has to be legit). The series is called Sick Note, and it’s got Lindsay rocking her signature red again — even if we’re pretty sure it’s a wig, judge for yourself.

And that’s not all. She's also got a horror movie in the works called The Shadow Within. Sure, she doesn’t have the best track record with horror movies, but this is going to be the first LiLo-led film since the mess that was The Canyons came out back in 2013, so we’re rooting for our girl.

These changes come after her move out of Hollywood, which seems like it was the right choice. (Anything that lets her start delivering fabulous movies to us again is the right choice.) “Moving to London was the best thing I've done for myself,” LiLo said in an interview on Turkish TV. “In London, I was able to take myself outside of whatever my family was doing and the people I had in my life that maybe weren't the best people for me. Maybe it was my fault, I can't say that because it's in the past. In London, I was able to sit alone and say, 'What is it that I want in life?'"

Welp, she seems to think that’s movies again, so in honor of that exciting news, we’ve decided to rank all of her old flicks. Okay, not all of them. We’re not counting her roles in Scary Movie 5 or Machete or anything like that. Just the really Lindsay-centric ones. But there are still plenty to choose from, so, without further ado, we present our ultimate ranking, from worst to best — starting with The Canyons.
