Lindsay Lohan Is Not Here for the Mean Girls — Defends Donald Trump on Twitter!

We didn't see this coming! Lindsay Lohan wants everyone to leave Donald Trump alone and she took to Twitter to spread her message.

The former child star is using the President of the United States' favorite social media platform to defend him against online trolls — in 140 characters or less.

"THIS IS our president. Stop #bullying him & start trusting him. Thank you personally for supporting #THEUSA," she wrote.

She followed up her anti-bullying message to endorse the Trump family, adding, "@realDonaldTrump @IvankaTrump @FLOTUS @DonaldJTrumpJr are kind people. As An American, why speak poorly of anyone? #FAITH #July4th."

As expected, fans were surprised by Lindsay's sudden interest in politics and wondered if she was a low-key member of the Republican party.

"I can't believe Lindsay Lohan is a Trump supporter how am I supposed to recover from this I was rooting for her," one follower wrote before another added, "Lindsay Lohan is telling us we need to support and trust Trump. Keep in mind this woman trusted Dina Lohan. The end."

Earlier this year, Lindsay urged President Trump to visit Turkey amid the Syrian refugee crisis.

"I think it would be a positive thing for America to show their care and support, and for him to experience what it's like for these people… experience how giving Turkey has been to the refugees and how many they have welcomed in," she told The Daily Mail. "He is the president — we have to join him. If u cant beat him, join him."

However, the Donald didn't have such nice things to say about Lindsay when asked about the controversial actress in 2004 on The Howard Stern Show.

"She's probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed," he said. "How come the deeply troubled women, you know, deeply, deeply troubled, they're always the best in bed?"
