It’s been quite the year for Lisa Vanderpump and her incredible empire, but we don’t see any signs she’s slowing down. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is opening a new restaurant in Las Vegas in the coming months and she continues to shake things up with her Bravo spinoff show, Vanderpump Rules. But when she spoke with In Touch exclusively on February 7 at the OK!/Star/ In Touch/Life & Style Pre-Grammys Party, she revealed that even when she’s killing it, she still struggles.

“Well, Housewives this year wasn’t a joy, that’s for sure,” she explained of the upcoming season. “I had a difficult time in my life.”

Though we’ll probably have to wait for season 9 to actually begin (February 12, ya’ll!) to see exactly how all the drama unfolded, it’s likely the 58-year-old was referencing her feuds with almost everyone in the damn cast.

One particularly interesting bit of drama we got to see in the RHOBH season 9 trailer was Lisa’s fight with Dorit Kemsley, where the 42-year-old newcomer adopted a dog from Lisa’s sanctuary and then returned it. Yikes. Come on, ladies, you know you’re not gonna win over Mrs. LVP if you’re doing wrong by a dog.

In fact, the trailer showed us Dorit wasn’t the only one who was about to feel the Vanderpump wrath — LVP‘s old best buddy, Kyle Richards, had her own gripes with the English entrepreneur and it seems they’re about to come to a head. Considering how close the 50-year-old child actress once was to Lisa, their friendship’s inevitable demise is kind of sad, y’all.

On top of the friend drama, Lisa was also hit with the death of her brother, Michael, in spring 2018, so we know she’s been dealing with a whole host of stressors. But we hope things pick back up for her in a positive way!

With her awesome new bar space in Vegas and the successes of Pump Rules, we just know things will come back around for the queen of Beverly Hills.
