Trophy Wife star Malin Akerman debuted a new Miley Cyrus-esque haircut at HBO’s Emmy Awards after party last night, and we’re totally wishing her beautiful, long blonde locks weren’t a thing of the past.

The 36-year-old actress chopped off her long, wavy bob into an ultra-short pompadour with shaved sides before attending the post-show bash. Stars including Billy Crystal, Sofia Vergara, Lena Dunham, Paula Patton and Allison Williams also attended the HBO event.

“She looked unrecognizable!” a guest at the luxe affair told Life & Style.

The mother-of-one posted about her drastic transformation early Tuesday, writing: “Yup! #changeisgood #Emmys2014.”

While Malin’s new haircut does look somewhat like Miley’s, we think the star’s ‘do actually looks a lot more like Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul‘s hair!
