This is terrifying. From Not To Hot star Mama June Shannon was rushed to the hospital after losing sight in both of her eyes. The 38-year-old was taken to the ER by her boyfriend, Geno, on Friday night's episode after waking up without vision.

While on the way to the hospital, Mama June asked, "What if they have to operate?" She continued, "This is my good eye. If I lose total sight in [my left] eye, I'll be blind. He could tell me there's nothing he can do."

Four years ago, Mama June said that she went totally blind in her right eye. In order to explain what her vision is like now, she told her daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson to put one hand over her right eye to completely cover it and another over the middle of her left eye. "I can see barely," Honey Boo Boo said, to which her mom responded, "See, it's hard!"

Doctors diagnosed a detached retina and were able to operate immediately. A concerned Mama June said, "I don't want to lose my independency [sic]." Fortunately, the retina was reattached and the surgery was a success allowing Mama June to return home to recover from her operation. Still, she was concerned that maybe one day she'll lose her sight completely. "I may not even be able to see Pumpkin's baby," she said. "I'm really scared."

Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon gave birth to her first child — a baby girl named Ella Grace — with her fiancé Josh Efird in December, and she's been sharing regular updates about her daughter on social media. Most recently, Pumpkin took to Instagram on her two-month birthday. "My sweet little girl is two months old today," she wrote in the caption. "Crazy how time is just flying by."

Understandably, Mama June was very upset when she first found out that her daughter had gotten pregnant at just 17 years old — especially because she knows how hard it is to be a teen mom since she had her first child when she was only 15 — but that didn't stop her from being supportive. She even gave her daughter's fiancé a stern talking to and made sure Josh was prepared to step up to be a father at such a young age. But it looks like she didn't have much to worry about because Lauryn and Josh are still together, and it seems like Josh is a very hands-on parent!
