Robin Williams affected the lives of millions — especially those closest to him.
And Mara Wilson was one of them.
Best known for her portrayal of Robin and Sally Field's on-screen daughter, Natalie Hillard, in 1993’s beloved Mrs. Doubtfire, the now 27-year-old is among the many people who are mourning the loss of the legendary actor.
Shortly after the news of his death became public knowledge, Mara took to Twitter and wrote: “Very sad, very upset, very glad I did not have to hear about this through Twitter. Probably going to be taking some time off it for a while.”

Many stars have since taken to social media to pay tribute to their friend, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, his co-star on the TV show The Crazy Ones.
She shared a beautiful photo collage of the pair:
But none have been more touching than the message his 25-year-old daughter, Zelda Williams, posted:
“I love you. I miss you. I’ll try to keep looking up. Z,” she wrote at the bottom.
Robin reportedly hanged himself inside his Northern California home Monday morning. His personal assistant found his body. He had been battling severe depression. He was 63.
