After calling it quits with her billionaire fiancé James Packer, Mariah Carey, 48, began dating her much younger boy toy, Bryan Tanaka, 35, and TBH, we kinda dig it. But who is Mariah Carey's boyfriend? You may have seen him in the background during one of his girlfriend's performances.
Who is Mariah Carey's boyfriend?
Although Bryan is more well-known for dating one of the biggest pop divas in the world, he's actually pretty a pretty successful dancer and choreographer. Bryan was a backup dancer for Mariah beginning in 2006 on her Adventures of Mimi tour, which is how he met the "Always Be My Baby" songstress.
According to an article from The Sun, the Washington native was also a backup dancer for Beyoncé during her 2009 I Am... world tour. Bryan opened up on his experience with the "Crazy In Love" singer in an interview with Pacific Rim Video. He said that the biggest "pinch me" moment in his career was creating choreography for Bey — ouch, sorry Mariah!
How long have they been dating?
The couple began dating shortly after the "We Belong Together" songstress split from James. Before that, she was married twice — to Tommy Mottola from 1993-1998 and then Nick Cannon from 2008-2016. She shares two kids with Nick — six-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan — who celebrate their birthday on April 30.
Who else has Mariah Carey dated?
Although Mariah got hitched twice, she's had her fair share of boyfriends in between. The Mariah's World star has been linked to rapper Eminem, her manager Mark Sudack, former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, and more.
What's his net worth?
Although we know Mariah is said to be sitting pretty at $520 million, it's not exactly clear how much her entertainer beau is bringing in. A source told Life & Style exclusively, however, that he's living quite the lifestyle since he started dating the pop star.

A source revealed last year that the dancer "is trying to manage Mariah's life and finances," but "he's digging into her millions as he does so." The insider continued, "Bryan has grown accustomed to the lavish lifestyle Mariah leads. He'll go on huge spending sprees with Mariah's money without thinking twice about it. He's already spent $50,000 on Christmas gifts for her!"
The news came on the heels of reports that the diva was being sued for sexual harassment among other things by her former bodyguard Michael Anello, who accused Mariah of calling him a series of slurs like Nazi, white supremacist, and member of the KKK. He asked for $221,329.51 and there are certain invoices she is willing to cover — but we can't help but wonder if that will put a damper on the couple's lavish spending ways.
Bryan may be in for a rude awakening with this, as our source deemed him "young and inexperienced when it comes to business and decision-making. He's more used to acting like an assistant to Mariah than [a manager]. When it comes to money, he doesn't really know what he's doing."
